Goa’uld Ships Are Coming To Hero Collector’s Stargate Models

From the “Shut up and take my money!” files:

As Stargate fans eagerly await the U.S.S. Daedalus model to arrive from Eaglemoss later this month, we’ve learned which two ships are coming next.

The Stargate ships collection from Eaglemoss’ Hero Collector line officially debuts at the end of this month, when the Daedalus arrives in fans’ hands. That will be followed next by the Goa’uld Ha’tak vessel, boasting its signature golden pyramid surrounded by an advanced warship superstructure.

The Goa’uld mothership just went up for pre-order today and will ship in early 2022. Click on the gallery at the end of this story for a closer look.

The Ha’tak model is made from die-cast metal and ABS plastic, and measures approximately 6.9 inches in diameter and 3 inches tall (excluding the display base).

The ship model showed up on the display floor at the “Destination Star Trek” this past weekend in London, alongside Hero Collector’s newest Star Trek: Discovery and The Expanse ships. (An eagle-eyed fan posted photos on Facebook.)

Eaglemoss also confirms to GateWorld that the third ship in the Stargate collection will be the Goa’uld Death Glider. We also got this exclusive first-look image, showing the Glider’s wing detail, plastic cockpit piece, and staff cannons attached to the ventral side of the ship:

While the Death Glider is a (modified) holdover from the original Stargate feature film, the Ha’tak-class Goa’uld mothership is original to the Stargate SG-1 television series. After making obscured appearances on TV monitors in the episodes “Singularity” and “There But For the Grace of God,” the ship design was finally front and center in the Season One finale — when SG-1 defied orders and gated onto Apophis’ attack ship en route to Earth.

The Ha’tak and Death Glider ships remained staples of the series for its entire 10-year run.

Stick with GateWorld for our full coverage of the U.S.S. Daedalus and other upcoming ships in the new series from Hero Collector! The 8.8-inch-long Daedalus is still available for pre-order, alongside the Goa’uld mothership. Both sell for $54.95 USD (or £39.99 and €49.99 internationally).

  • This looks fantastic! Really hoping to see them release the Atlantis city ship (with the stardrive) in XL.

  • Both the Daedalus and the Goa'uld Mothership are in "Shut up and take my money!" territory. As would Apophis' Mothership, Atlantis, the Asgard ships, the Goa'uld Cargo Ship and various other ships that have appeared through SG-1 and Atlantis. I've got the first two on pre-order. I'm not sure about the Death Glider yet - the model looks very simplistic, but once it goes on the site I'll decide then.

  • Really looking forward to (begging for) the Asgard ships. The Daedelus is nice, ordered 2 Ha'tak's and the death glider.
