Paul Brown, president of Legends Memorabilia, recently presented a special “Golden Stargate Award” to Richard Dean Anderson and the entire original cast of Stargate SG-1 while he was at The Bridge Studios filming his upcoming guest appearances. The tenth anniversary commemorative award recognizes Anderson’s contribution as executive producer and former leading man.

The company also presented Golden Stargate displays to original cast members Michael Shanks (Daniel Jackson), Amanda Tapping (Samanthat Carter), Christopher Judge (Teal’c), Don S. Davis (George Hammond), and frequent guest star Teryl Rothery (Dr. Janet Fraiser). Several key production staff personnel, including executive producers and writers Brad Wright and Robert C. Cooper, also received Golden Stargate displays.

“This is magnificent, a true work of art and a wonderful commemoration of this series,” Anderson said. “Thank you, I’m extremely touched.”

Shanks was also impressed. “Wow, this is brilliant!” he is quoted as saying. “Thank you so much. This will stay here in my home with my other ‘treasures.'”
