Master Replicas Reveals Stargate’s Rumored F-302 Model

A model long rumored to exist has finally been confirmed — and will be available to fans in limited quantities later this summer. Master Replicas has revealed the F-302 model, originally produced by Eaglemoss for its Hero Collector line before the company went under in 2022.

And it isn’t the last of what is still coming for the Stargate line.

In 2021 and 2022 Eaglemoss released three ships from an initial list of ten that were at various stages of planning: the Daedalus, Ha’tak-class Goa’uld mothership, and the Death Glider.

The F-302 looks to be coming in its original box manufactured by Eaglemoss, showing it numbered as the fourth ship in the series that was officially licensed by MGM.

In a follow-up post Master Replicas said that the ship is expected to be included in a weekly drop near the end of July, depending on logistics. The company has the remaining Eaglemoss stock delivered to their local warehouse in batches, only listing and selling what they have on hand and ready to ship.

Master Replicas acquired the remaining stock from Eaglemoss when that company went out of business, and has been selling them in limited quantities via weekly stock drops at MasterReplicas.com. This included very limited quantities of the Ha’tak and Death Glider earlier this year … though the Daedalus sold so well for Eaglemoss that there were no more left.

We hope to have more intel from the company in the days to come, but we expect a healthy amount of stock to be available for fans. Hopefully this won’t be another ship to sell out in mere minutes.

The F-302 was an Earth-built ship first introduced in SG-1‘s sixth season premiere, “Redemption,” and featured across the Stargate TV franchise. The two-person craft was built with human ingenuity from years of studying alien craft such as the Goa’uld Death Glider. The ship is highly maneuverable, able to operate in both space and planetary atmosphere. It is armed with missiles under each wing and equipped with a hyperspace generator, capable of short bursts through hyperspace.

The model version of the ship won’t be able to open a stable hyperspace window, however. Probably due to the unavailability of naquadria in manufacturing.

We’re still waiting on specs and pricing for the 302, but we expect it to fall in line with the rest of the Stargate Hero Collector ships. The Death Glider came with a wing span of 7.8 inches (20 centimeters), made of die-cast metal and ABS plastic. The three previous models sold with a price tag around $60 (USD).

The F-302 won’t be the only lost ship from the Hero Collector line. GateWorld has learned that Master Replicas has also uncovered an undetermined amount of stock on the Prometheus — Earth’s first deep space carrier, introduced in the sixth season episode “Prometheus.”

If all goes well this also will not be the end of the line for Stargate models. If Master Replicas can secure a new license with MGM they’ll be able to pick up where Eaglemoss left off. This opens the possibility that they could produce not only new ships — from the Puddle Jumper to the Asgard Mothership and beyond — but also put those rare early releases back into production, bringing down the exorbitant prices on the secondary market and putting more models into the hands of fans.
