SGU ‘Back to Destiny’ #2 Comic In Stores Now

The story of the Destiny crew continues as the latest issue of the new Stargate Universe comic book hits the stands! SGU “Back to Destiny” Issue #2 is available now.

The series debuted in June with Issue #1, where authors Mark L. Haynes and J. C. Vaughn re-introduced the characters and the events that resulted in their going into stasis at the end of the show’s run (“Gauntlet”).

Issue #2 will certainly push the story down the road as Eli Wallace revives Colonel Young and others … and discovers that they are not the only ones waking up on the Ancient deep-space exploratory vessel.

The issue features art by Eliseu Gouveia and Greg LaRocque, with LaRocque illustrating the Rush-centric main cover. Publisher American Mythology will also release at least two alternate covers.

Another forthcoming SGU comic series will tell the story of how the crew wound up on the Icarus Project to begin with. It’s based on a story by Stargate Universe co-creator Robert C. Cooper.
