If you missed out on these beautiful pieces of Stargate history when they were first sold back in 2018, now is a rare chance to pick up Chronicle Collectibles’ 1:2-scale Horus and Anubis Helmet models. A small number of the long sold-out movie memorabilia have been found and are on sale now.
The COVID-19 lockdown temporary halted Chronicle’s current production on Jurassic Park, Terminator, and other high-quality models and props and sent them into spring cleaning mode. The result was the discovery of a small number of discontinued items, which are now on sale in the company’s Summer Warehouse Sale.
Items are obviously very limited in stock — and we don’t know how many of the Horus and Anubis statues are available. But they are up for order now. The original run was limited to 200 units each. Chronicle stated that quantities of warehouse sale items (Stargate and non-Stargate) run from just one to 12 units each.
The 1:2-scale Anubis and Horus Helmets sell for $750 each, with Chronicle offering a discount to customers who purchase both in the same order.
The helmets were created using 3D scans of original screen-used prop from the 1994 Stargate feature film, and is officially licensed. They are hand-painted fiberglass with illuminated eyes (for which the batteries are replaceable). By popular demand, this is a smaller version of the 1:1 Horus and Anubis helmets that the company sold previously.
After their debut in the feature film, the Horus Guards went on to multiple appearances on the Stargate SG-1 television series. The Horus guard the family of Ra, and they turned up with Heru’ur (“Secrets”) and also when SG-1 traveled 5,000 years into the past to find Ra himself reigning in Egypt (“Moebius”).

Chronicle told GateWorld last year that additional Stargate movie merchandise was in the planning stages, but we don’t yet know what those items are or when they might show up. Keep your browser locked on GateWorld for the latest!
