The Wraith were unintentionally awakened when the Atlantis team encountered a small team of the parasitic aliens culling the native Athosians. Massively outnumbering the human defenders of Atlantis, the Wraith continue to search for the location of Earth in hopes of turning its billions of humans into the Wraith's next meal.

- A variant of this figure was released as "Steve the Wraith," a mail-in exclusive offered to customers free with four proofs of purchase from the Atlantis Series 1 line. "Steve" came in a bag (rather than a standard blister pack) and looks to be the same sculpt, but with blue-tinted skin.
