The Companion is offering fans of Stargate, Travelers, The Outer Limits, and more to ask writer-producer Brad Wright anything. Brad will sit down with The Companion this weekend for an exclusive AMA Livestream.
The event takes place this Saturday, November 21, starting at 12 p.m. Pacific time (3 p.m. Eastern, 8 p.m. GMT). The Companion’s Lawrence Kao will host, and spaces are limited to around 200 people.
While working as a writer and producer on MGM’s The Outer Limits, Wright co-created Stargate SG-1 with Jonathan Glassner in 1997. He went on to shepherd the franchise for 14 years, producing 17 seasons of television — and co-creating Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe (with Robert C. Cooper) along the way.
Brad has also written some of our very favorite episodes of Stargate, from “Solitudes,” “1969,” and “2010” to “Abyss,” “The Shrine,” “Twin Destinies,” and the 2008 movie Stargate: Continuum.
After Stargate went off the air, he created Travelers for Netflix and Canada’s Showcase network.
Brad Wright joined The Companion as a contributor and creative advisor in 2020.
The AMA Livestream is an exclusive for members of The Companion, a new subscription digital magazine that features articles and more spanning the whole of sci-fi entertainment.
