Basingstoke Comic Con is rolling out the red carpet for Stargate, with a total of eleven former cast members and guest stars now announced for the U.K. fan convention. It’s set for May 10-12, 2024, near London.
Previously announced guests coming to Basingstoke include Stargate SG-1‘s leading man Richard Dean Anderson (“Jack O’Neill”), as well as his co-star Amanda Tapping (“Samantha Carter”).
They will be joined by a Puddle Jumper full of Stargate Atlantis cast members, as well as two of the stars of Stargate Universe and another familiar face from the S.G.C.:
- Joe Flanigan (“John Sheppard”)
David Hewlett (“Rodney McKay”)
Rachel Luttrell (“Teyla Emmagan”)
Paul McGillion (“Carson Beckett”)
Rainbow Sun Francks (“Aiden Ford”)
Mitch Pileggi (“Steven Caldwell”)
Alaina Huffman (“Tamara Johansen”)
David Blue (“Eli Wallace”)
Gary Jones (“Walter Harriman”)
Alongside Stargate the convention’s organizers are also prioritizing guests from genre series Supernatural, Sandman, and The Umbrella Academy. Other guests announced so far include Evanna Lynch (Harry Potter), Briana Buckmaster (Supernatural), Kim Rhodes (Supernatural), and Ferdinand Kingsley (Sandman, Silo).
The Hampshire Court Hotel in Basingstoke sits about 1 hour west of London and just 35 minutes from Heathrow Airport. This is the second Basingstoke Comic Con following the first this past May, and the organizers state that the event independently financed.
Tickets are on sale now at BasingstokeComicCon.com. The “Stargate VIP Package” will set you back £499.00, but give fans full access to all three days of the event, autographs with all Stargate guests, and priority seating and queuing for Stargate panels, autographs, and photo ops.
Oh come on!
I wasn’t considering this one, especially since I just went to Parismanga to get a picture with the man, the myth, the legend… David Hewlett.
Now that I see this line-up, seriously getting doubts… This is basically a dedicated Stargate convention!
I wish I could attend. That would have been magical
I wish that I didn’t have Autism and a crippling amount of agoraphobia. I’d have loved to have met Colonel Caldwell and my best hero of all, Doctor Rodney McKay.
Oh what a great day that would have been
Have watched all 3 series twice over. Would so love to go and meet some of these awesomely talented actors.
