With the new mini-series from Stargate’s Robert C. Cooper now airing in Canada, Unspeakable has its U.S. premiere date.
The 8-part drama will make its debut on SundanceTV in a special two-night premiere event. It begins Thursday, April 4 at 9 p.m. PT (12 midnight ET), with part two airing Friday, April 5 (also at 9 p.m. PT).
Cooper created the event series, based on the tainted blood scandal of the early 1980s. He also wrote several episodes and directed.
Unspeakable co-stars Stargate SG-1‘s Michael Shanks (“Daniel Jackson”) as Will Sanders, a father whose family is shaken by the discovery that his hemophiliac son may have been exposed to tainted blood products.
Also starring are Sarah Wayne Callies (Colony), Shawn Doyle (Big Love), and Camille Sullivan (The Man in the High Castle). Callies plays a whistleblower “who exposes one of the largest medical disasters in history and the tragedy that resulted after thousands of people were infected by tainted blood.”
Also appearing from the Stargate universe are actors Brian Markinson (“Lotan”), Aaron Douglas (“Moac,” Anubis’s Jaffa), Paul McGillion (“Carson Beckett”), and Lexa Doig (“Carolyn Lam”), plus Camille Sullivan (“Val”), Eric Breker (“Reynolds”), Garry Chalk (“Chekov”), Kevin McNulty (“Dr. Warner,” “Lycus”), Jay Brazeau (“Harlan”), Peter Flemming (“Malcolm Barrett”), Barclay Hope (“Lionel Pendergast”), Anna Galvin (“Reya Varrick,” “Mrs. Armstrong”), David Lewis (“Balinsky”), Haig Sutherland (“Sgt. Riley”), Gerard Plunkett (“Tuplo”), and others.
Former Stargate writer-producer Carl Binder is also on the writing team.
Unspeakable is currently airing Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on CBC in Canada.
SundanceTV is owned and operated by AMC Networks and is available on air, on demand, via mobile apps, and online at SundanceTV.com.

I also noticed, "Aaron Douglas from Battlestar Galactica and Shawn Doyle from The Expanse", starring in this mini series.
Actors from all my favorite sci fi shows..... I WILL DEFINITELY WATCH...!!
:-)
Really want to see this.
It's not on local tv for me yet... I see it on Google Play though it shows 'unavailable', maybe because I'm not in Canada. Added to wishlist, hope to see it soon!
