We’re continuing our celebration of the fifteenth anniversary of Stargate Atlantis this week on the GateWorld Podcast! It’s hard to believe 15 years have passed since “Rising” made its debut, back in July of 2004.
In this episode we’ll talk about discovering fandom, fan conventions, and how Atlantis managed to be familiar while also setting itself apart from Stargate SG-1. And we’ll run down some stand-out episodes, both the big fan favorites and some others that connect viewers with the characters.
Joining Adam for the anniversary celebration is special guest Taylor Underwood. You might know him as The Stargate Guy on YouTube, and he is also a member of MGM’s inaugural Stargate Superfan Panel and a GateWorld contributor. We’ll take a few minutes to hear Taylor’s story, and how Stargate came to play such a big role in his life.

I agree, please bring back Stargate Atlantis, I loved it so much that I watch it over and over, but please the whole cast making a few more shows would be so great. This is my very favorite show of all time.
