GateWorld Podcast: SG-1 Season Eight

Visit the GateWorld Podcast page for more about the show!

Our march through the history of Stargate continues this week on the podcast, as Darren and David talk about Season Eight of Stargate SG-1! This season had a lot of favorites and a few … less-compelling hours of television. It brought back old enemies and created some new ones, culminating in the downfall of major enemies and the wrapping up of many storylines. In fact, with Richard Dean Anderson departing the series, many fans feel that Season Eight is the real end of SG-1. Tune in to find out what we think.

First up, we’ll recap all the latest Stargate news and the newest additions to GateWorld. Podcast listeners will also get to hear the trailer for the new Stargate SG-1 audio drama, “Pathogen,” starring Teryl Rothery and Christopher Judge!

  • Worst episode of the entire SG-1 series: Gemini. I spent the entire episode screaming at the screen: Carter, you are NOT that STUPID!!! It was just too painful to watch the writers totally butcher her character.

  • I posted a couple of weeks ago and I just wanted to say how squee I am over the fact that you keep mentioning it.It puts me in a great mood everytime, now excuse me while I do a happy dance!

  • I have to say that I really liked the attempt to let Teal'c have a life outside the base. The comical moments made for a nice break. I think the episodes were well-written.
