As for "Enemy At The Gate" - i think it was an OK episode, i agree they tried to do too much for one episode.
I think that the previous episode - "Vegas" was completely unnecessary and that "Enemy at the Gate" should have been a 2 part episode instead.
I agree it could have done with being a two-parter at least - Vegas was okay but EATG definatley could have used the time better. Can't wait to see the movie now and where they will go with it.
In response to Darren and David’s question about San Francisco bay, I live in the bay area and there is no way the city could land within the bay and not be noticed, I’m not even sure it would fit at all inside the bay entrance near Alcatraz island. However from the shot of the Golden Gate Bridge we see in Enemy at the Gate, you can tell the city is on the Pacific Ocean side of the bridge and not inside the SF bay proper. I suppose with a naval quarantine, the city cloaked and an extremely soft landing generating minimal waves it would be possible for it to touch down unnoticed there between the bay and the Farallon Islands, though it is still extremely implausible as this is a major shipping lane and pleasure cruising area. That being said I suspended my disbelief while watching and thoroughly enjoyed the final episode. As David said it will never satisfy every detail but I thought it a fitting end to the series, and I can’t wait for the movie!
Enemy at the Gate was pretty good, but it had a lot of things that didn't make sense, they were just things thrown in at the last minute to advance the story. I agree it should have been a two parter. I liked Vegas so much better than this one.
Sad to see the ending though.

I didn't care for Vegas initially, seeing it as another stand-alone episode at the end of the series. But, after seeing how it ties into Enemy at The Gate, I want to watch it again. While I watch CSI, I find it tired now.
I liked seeing many re-occurring characters get something in the finale. I did enjoy, but felt it lost its impact due to its rushed feel. The smaller moments made the episode great! Like when Woolsey giving Teyla and Ronon the option to jump ship.
I did miss not seeing Major Lorne in the last scene looking at the Golden Gate Bridge. He should've been there with Zalenka and Beckett.
